We are local, co-owning optometrists, with over 20 years combined experience in the industry. We are looking for someone to join our team as we move into our 2nd year of operation and who can help us continue to build our vision of a community-oriented, family friendly, inclusive, full scope independent optometry clinic. The ideal candidate would be considered energetic, caring, dedicated, professional, tech savvy, and have exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.

This position is ideal for an optician and/or optometric assistant with at least 1 year experience in the field, however exceptions can always be made for that right fit, or a medical office assistant wanting to specialize in optical care. We are a smaller boutique style clinic, so a willingness to be cross-trained in different areas around the office is a must. We are located at beautiful Mattick's Farm, serviced by BC Transit Route #32 and the Lockside Trail. Parking is free.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Reception (greeting patients, managing the optometrist's schedules, answering phones, invoicing and checking out patients)

Patient pretesting

Optical dispensing and repairs

Frame styling and acquisition
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Wages are dependent on years of experience, education and licensing.
