Dr. Meaghan Goddard

optometrist

Dr. Meaghan Goddard earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo after completing her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Kinesiology. An externship at the Eye Foundation of Utah enhanced her skills in disease management and her participation in third world eye care missions to Guatemala and Paraguay solidified her passion for providing quality eye care to those in need.

After practicing optometry in Ontario, a chance visit to Victoria with her husband convinced them that they had found the place they should call home. She has been living in Cordova Bay and practicing in Saanich ever since then, over 8 years now. Dr. Goddard is very passionate about her work and feels incredibly grateful to help people achieve their best vision. She welcomes new patients of all ages and looks forwards to seeing you.

In her spare time, you’ll often find Dr. Goddard paddle boarding or biking with her two young kids, Quinn and Miles, or (not-so-successfully!) surfing while camping in Tofino.

Dr. Lisa Meister

optometrist

Dr. Lisa Meister earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo after completing her Bachelors of Science Degree. For her clinical externships, Dr. Meister chose to train in Melbourne Australia, Olds Alberta and Baltimore USA and is grateful for the variety these three very different locations provided.  Dr. Meister has also participated in optometry related volunteer work in Singapore (Lion’s Club) and Lima Peru (VOSH).

Dr. Meister is originally from Regina, Saskatchewan but decided to make the Greater Victoria Area her home 12 years ago and has been seeing patients locally ever since. She loves living on the Saanich Peninsula with her husband and discovering the beauty of Vancouver Island. Dr. Meister truly enjoys getting to know, and care, for her patient's individual visual needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Meister enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, astronomy, cooking, gardening and swimming.
