Jackie was born and raised on the West Coast of B.C.  After moving to Vancouver for 10 years and initially graduating from BCIT with a Diploma in Health Information Technology, it was time to settle down and raise a family by the beautiful seaside of Vancouver Island.

While raising her children, she volunteered for various groups and organizations from animal rescue to hosting international students. She worked a number of years in customer service and wanted to return to the health care field. An opportunity to be involved in the optometry industry became available, which lead to becoming a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant. She ennjoys with patients and helping them with their specific selection of eyewear needs. 

Jackie likes to spend time with family and friends, doing yoga, gardening and nature walking with her dogs. In her spare time, she also likes to read and listen to music.
